The National Jewish Health Advanced Diagnostic Laboratories perform a wide variety of diagnostic tests, including many specialized tests for tuberculosis (Mtb), nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) and other infectious diseases. Our laboratories recently worked with minimally processed viable tissue manufacturers to develop a streamlined molecular test that detects the presence of Mtb in these potential products. Standard Mtb culture is also available.
